We’re very aware that the ‘traditional’ Scout uniform may pose some sensory issues for our young people and we’re therefore in the process of designing and producing our very own Group T-Shirt that our members can wear instead of the ‘normal’ uniform should they wish.

Scouts uniform

If you want to buy a ‘traditional’ Scout uniform, they can be bought from Scout Stores. If you’re not sure where to start, leaders can give you more information about what to buy. They may even know if someone is selling a uniform second hand.

Costs

We charge a fee (called subscriptions or subs) to cover the costs of running the group and our regular meetings which covers the meeting place, admin, insurances and materials for activities. There are sometimes extra charges for special activities, camps and events. We try to keep our subs as low as possible so that anyone can come to Scouts. For more information about subs, and if you need help paying them, please speak to your young persons leader.
